Campaign Summary
Campaign created Tuesday, December 22, 2009 07:40:46 AM by Kamarathin

You are all gathered at a local roadhouse near Lake Dughas.
Campaign Description
The Witches Teat sits on the shore of Lake Dughas. She caters to the merchants that make their way across the lake during the short summer when the ice has melted enough to allow passage. It's remote to be sure, but it's the closest thing to civilization in this area and she'd been here longer than any of the Brallius who gather here in the spring to trade their wool.

The Witches Teat has another purpose, of course. During the long winters when the sun stays low for months, she becomes the home for members of the Lorg Fírinne. A few Nolani families come to roost here as well, prefering the warmth of the fireplaces to the solitude of the trail and the brightly covered wagons.

It's the 1st of Dughridh, late spring, about 20 days away from the summer solstice. The lake is still frozen as is the land around it. Crorucus and his wife, Matopullus are catering to the snow birds that have taken roost. The atmosphere is up beat and there's talk about the upcoming trade season.

You're one of those snow birds, why your here is your own business and no one's going to ask or even care. It's up to you to decide if you're friendly or not. You've likely been here for several months, close to 8 all told.

Coast Guard is a campaign that will take place within the Isomhnaid Province of the Kingdom of Beilean. It is a playtest that will help document the upcoming book from D3 Games. Players have already been selected, though Lurkers are welcome.

Please be sure to read the Character Guidelines in the Campaign Messages before submitting characters.

Once we have established more about the characters and the campaign theme I will develop the Campaign Info a bit more. I really hate having one that is this anemic. heh
